Mexico City

Mexico City is located in the Valley of Mexico, surrounded by mountains and volcanoes that can be over 16,000 feet tall. The valley does not drain naturally, so it can flood easily. To help drain the water, people built canals and tunnels. Earthquakes are also very common in Mexico City.
The temperature in Mexico City is usually mild, staying between 37 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit. There are two main seasons in Mexico City: a rainy season from June to October, and a dry season from November to May.
